Letter No. 6197 / Land Acquisition / 2024: – Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division No. 01. Ambikapur constituted a Social Impact Assessment Team for the acquisition of a total area of 2.464 hectares of private land for the main canal and submergence area of the proposed Kanchanpur Reservoir Scheme in Village – Kanchanpur Tehsil – Ambikapur under Surguja District. The Social Impact Assessment Report and Social Impact Management Plan have been prepared and submitted by the said team. Therefore, using the powers conferred by subsection (1) of Section 7 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013, an Expert Group is constituted to evaluate the Social Impact Assessment Report as follows:-
